Is Your Toddler Getting DHA? + Giveaway

Tracking Pixel

I was a picky eater as a child (still kind of am) so it should not have come as a surprise me that my daughter Mia would be a picky eater too. We try daily to get her all of the nutrients she needs a day but wonder if she really is getting everything she needs. That is why I was excited to have her try Enfagrow Toddler as a part of this sponsored post program.

Of all of the nutrient rich foods we give her most of them do not contain very much DHA, which is an omega-3 fatty acid that is an important nutrient for brain growth. I don't know about your toddler but mine isn't going to eat fatty fishes or tofu. Did you know that on average toddlers are only getting about 25% of the expert recommended amount of of DHA? The first 3 years of a child's life are when the majority of brain growth takes place, making DHA important in their diet.

One way I'm helping her get her daily amount of DHA is by supplementing with products on the market to fill the gap like Enfagrow Toddler. In two servings a day it also has calcium, vitamin D, iron and a prebiotic blend to help support her digestive system.

Mia seems to enjoy drinking her Enfagrow Toddler. As a mom taking this step is easy and I feel good knowing that I am helping her with the right nutrition for these important growth and developmental years.

Enfagrow is available at your local retailer in a powder or ready-to-drink boxes. For more information and to learn additional facts on the benefits of DHA for your toddler visit Enfagrow.

  6. DHA is in breastmilk, so my best tip is to breastfeed for as long as you possibly can. I breastfed my children all the way until they were 18 mos old.

  13. I like the idea of giving a supplement when you have a child that gets on a roll and only wants to eat certain foods.

  22. I've been researching how to make the transition for my little girl & Enfagrow seems the way to go. I perked up when I saw it had DHA, I had read about how important it was while I was pregnant & made sure that I got plenty to help Baby's brain development. Now, she is perfect except for her acid reflux & I'm no longer nervous about the transition because Enfagrow seems ideal.

  24. I have 2 very picky eaters! Our 4 year old and 19 month old are both super picky and I am constantly worrying about them getting enough nutrition! I think about the impact it has on their weight, there teeth, everything... i think if my kids liked this drink it would give me peace of mind and make me feel like I'm taking positive steps towards a healthy future! All 3 of our children drank Enfamil as babies, and I trust this brand :)

  30. My 3 year old is on the smaller side -- while my 18 month old is almost his size - I think it would be great to replace some of the vitamins maybe he is not getting while he is picky.

  31. My little girl isn't a picky eater, but i've always made it a point of letting her try pretty much anything i eat. I think one of the things that helps me make sure that my little girl gets all the nutrition is by actually giving her enfagrow. My little girl is lactose intolerant and when we first tried to switch her to milk, well.....it' wasn't pretty. We've since tried numerous different things, from silk milk to almond milk to even rice milk.....and nothing has made a difference. Until we tried enfagrow. It doesn't break her out, or give her an upset tummy, and most of all, she actually loves the taste of it, especially the Vanilla ;) I think silk milk was the one that didn't upset her tummy, but oh my world, it was like an act of congress, to try to get her to even drink half a cup full lol.
