If you read this recent post about my washer and dryer then you know that not only were they in bad shape but my dryer had also decided that heat was no longer a part of it's services. Sooner than expected my laundry room transformation has begun.
I absolutely love my new washer and dryer. We purchased (No, this isn't a sponsored blog post...I wish!!) the Samsung 4.5 Cu. Ft. Top Load Washer and Samsung 7.2 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer, both in Platinum. We bought them at The Home Depot along with a 3 year extended warranty, because you never know.
I am in LOVE with them. Did I tell you I LOVE them? First off, you know that annoying buzzer most washer & dryers have? The one that yells for you like there is a fire...I really dislike that noise! My new washer and dryer play a little tune when the cycles are complete. It's like it is singing to come and get your laundry when you have a free moment. I like it, hubby not so much.
The color is fantastic. It isn't stainless steel obviously but it gives a similar effect. The dryer has a sanitizing cycle and the washer has a self cleaning setting...amazing! It holds an insane amount of laundry. With our oldies out of service the laundry over 2 weeks had piled up! I had it all done and then some in no time. Although I have to admit that folding and putting that many clothes at a time is not so much fun. It has too many features to mention but if you are on the hunt for a new pair, these ones are sure fantastic!!
Just as a reminder, this is what we started with. So far in our laundry room makeover we have replaced the water heater, washer and dryer and I added a couple of baskets for organization. Now for some paint, shelves, cabinets, new rug and stuff to pretty it up. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
